Eagles Wings of Grace, Int’l. is a tax-exempt, 501C-3, not-for-profit Christ-Centered ministry that currently serves all of Greater Tucson, Arizona. Eagles Wings of Grace, Int’l (or EWOG) is designed to take women from devastation to destiny by providing job preparedness training, basic life-skill training and clothing for women to interview for jobs. We also help connect them to other service agencies and programs that serve our target population.
Our services include:
- The nationally renowned “Jobs For Life” job preparedness training program
- “The Journey to Living Within Your Means” a financial literacy course
- Clothing and Fashion Consultation and distribution
- Hair and make up consultations, and design
- Nutritional training
- Goal setting to live life intentionally
- Christian Life Coaching, in order to provide self-sufficiency for our "at risk" female population.
- Prayer: Each woman is offered the opportunity to pray for whatever is on her heart. Many are led to the Lord during this precious time of prayer.
EWOG relies on support from private individuals like you, as well as charitable organizations and corporate sponsorship.
Eagles Wings of Grace serves a niche that no one else fills.
Our client base consists of “at risk” women, many whom are single mothers attempting to re-enter the work force. They are referred to us from strategic partner relationships we have in the community, including Pima County One Stop, The Giving Tree, The Emerge Center, Gospel Rescue Mission, New Beginnings Treatment Center, New Beginnings Women’s Center, The Sober Project, Lutheran Social Services, Victory Worship Center, La Frontera, Cope, Agave Home, The Miracle Center. These women arrive at EWOG overwhelmed, stressed out and needing life-skills re-entry preparedness. Our services include resume preparation, interview process training, etiquette, manners, etc. We assist them in a tangible way, helping them to select appropriate clothing for their job interviews, which allows us to speak into their lives to help give them the confidence to begin to understand who they are in Christ. This is the first step towards success.
EWOG currently operates in an adorable cozy cottage-like home that is set up like a clothing boutique. It is our goal to serve each woman that arrives in a very special way, making her feel like “Esther”, being prepared for the king. We also have a classroom where our various basic life-skill classes are taught. The program actively solicits clothing, shoes, and accessories from local retailers, wholesalers, and national retailers, as well as individual donors. In addition, EWOG collects clothing donations from churches, and from other not for profit ministries. We are always in need of shoes (sizes 8-10) and jewelry.
As Tucson continues to grow in population, and with the current downturn in the economy, we project the number of women who need our services will increase. A number of programs exist to help transition these individuals back into society. EWOG is an important partnering resource to these programs, because we can respond quickly with the one of the most important resource these women need, self-confidence and dignity. Our services improve the ability of mothers to care for children, and achieve goals of self-sufficiency.
The Organization
Eagles Wings of Grace, Int’l. was founded in 2007 as a vision of Cynthia and Scott Palmer. Our management team consists of the board of directors and officers of EWOG working closely with the Executive Director. Ultimately, the work will be divided among committees, and the executive director may need to add staff to the EWOG management team. We will develop separate management structures as we expand into other cities and states.

This new initiative is designed to create resources for women that will serve all of Greater Tucson Arizona, creating a model that can be easily duplicated as we move this ministry across the country.

Fit To Be Me Curriculum. Our passion is to see each women find her healthy self image. Many our clients are overweight. Some of them obese. Most low income women do not have the luxury of shopping for healthy food, and are forced to get off the bus and shop at the convenience market. They live on twinkies big gulps and cigarettes.
We are passionate about creating a curriculum designed to assist low income women understand how to prosper in their mind body and spirit. This program will be designed to assist in helping them heal from unhealthy life-style patterns, shop, and prepare healthy and nutritious foods on a budget. We also want to show them ways of working out without an expensive gym membership. Won't you help end this tragic epidemic and assist us in steering these women towards a more healthy lifestyle? Where Did My Money GO? Eagles Wings of Grace is working on a curriculum that will assist in the question: "Why do I have more bills than money? Once they get their job they must learn how to live within their means. We need your assistance to fund this program as well.
